I inserted the end of a large allen wrench into the buttress hole, then pulled up while hitting the trunk release again. It opened right up. My suggestion is to close and open the trunk several times while at the dealer and see if it sticks again. I had already tried pulling up on the trunk lid when the button was depressed. I can see the actuator moving when I push the button but its not moving the cable in the center that releases the trunk.
